Back for the 20th round! ...Something I never thought would happen. This one is a little mild, but I still scored enough outtakes to throw a cut together. Thanks to those who have stuck around, or are just finding out about this series! The layout's chaos has truly spanned the world, which is crazy to think about. Had the chance to put some laps on my new Tenshodo Die Cast D51Mikado. This is from the 2019 production with a late era QSI chip, and has one of the best JNR 5 chimes in a model. We'll do a quick sound and light demo, then take it on the main before tackling the mountain levels.

Taking one of my older projects- that somehow never got filmed- out for some mileage. This was done with a spare Tsunami 2 board, and modified the sound selection to my tastes..So it has a less grating 710 sound and different horn/bell. Engine got an LED swap, and installation of a cab light l.

Had to pick up one of the CR 40-2's to add a little more blue flavor to the roster! These engines are sweet, run and sound great as expected. I did turn the prime mover down and amp horn on mine, otherwise this is the factory soundfile.
Steam South- Southern 630 + 4501 Doublehead to Summerville.

As timing would play out, I was able to follow the southbound run of 630 4501 down to Summerville this weekend. Clouds and the slow pace made picking spots fairly easy, even with a decent crowd on hand. 630 was definitely putting in the work, as evident by the smoke plume and stack talk in a few locations.

This was one of those ideas that was crazy enough to somehow work...Then I got the bright idea to take it up the hill. Minus some shorting and stringlines, the train did make it up the helix and loop the mountain a few times.

I dug up some footage from my last trip to Washington state, fortunately had enough clips on hand to throw together a small highlight of the awesome layout inside the Washington State History Museum. Loved the variety of scenery and operating semaphores scattered throughout! Layout made good use of the space available, definently enjoyed the pitstop.

Taking the latest run Rapido M420 out for a spin with a few other units from this batch. Factory volumes are decent, but I can't wait to swap the stock speaker for a Scalesounds and get some needed Alco bass.

An overdue showcase video of a find from last year's Fall York meet. Finally picked up the MPC era SP "Popsicle" U36C pair, and turned it loose for a few laps. This engine was the result of Lionel following the Morrison Knudsen TE70-4S rebuilds, which were short lived SP experimental units built on a GE U25 base. No horn or Railsounds here, just old school MPC E unit and Pullmor grumble!

@@huntercoleman460 No, any former MTH stuff will fall under the Fox Valley Model lineup. This one was built in Rivet Counter spec.

@Cyber_Horse_Studios87 Found the Amtrak piece at a show, it was too chaotic not to grab. There's a video of it solely running on channel as well. The layout would do the same, whether it was DC or DCC under the hood.
@@SCL3618 ah okay so you didn’t build it. Still the moment I saw it I was filled with a mix of horror and amazement. A rail zeppelin made out of an Amtrak. Also yeah that’s fair, I’ve just always found DCC to be a bit more of a chaotic system. XD

I recognize some of these from I Love Toy Trains, have those accessories been S Gauge this whole time? I thought they were O Gauge.
@ZillaJr2005 Yep! Some of the S accessories cross pollinate very well in O gauge environments, the barrel loader and crossing gates are prime examples. Log loader can be adapted as well.

Do you know if its DC or DCC Ready? All of the listings I find are hopelessly undetailed.
Very likely it's not DCC ready, majority of JP market equipment requires some work to equip with a decoder.
I've been looking for an f series may i ask where did you get it?
Layout and equipment belong to a friend, the engines + cars were found on eBay.
I have the same train the chugging sounds a little out of sequence or maybe it's just the recording either way nice layout
Chuff sequence can go out of set with these drivers, engine alternated timing over two recordings.
